The MacBook Air uses the same touch screen controller chip found in the iPhone and the iPod Touch. Besides making it "impossible" for any software hacks to bring the Air's multi-touch capabilities to other MacBooks, it's tiny hard drive is also non-swappable for anything bigger in its class.
